We start talking about the amazing 2023 Dodge Hornet with the GT trim! Under the hood of this beast is a powerful and efficient turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that creates a solid 265 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, which connects to a smooth nine-speed automatic transmission. In addition to the engine’s power, the GT also comes with some of the best features we have seen on a base trim level, as you get LED headlights on each side of its menacing-looking grille. All-wheel-drive also comes standard on every trim of the Hornet, so you can get all the traction you need on wet and slippery roads. The R/T has a plug-in hybrid engine that uses a base turbocharged 1.3-liter four-cylinder and pairs with a battery pack and an electric motor on each axle. This entire setup pumps out 288 horsepower, but you can tack on an additional 25 horsepower thanks to the innovative “Powershot” feature, so you will have no problem passing other vehicles on the highway. In addition to this remarkable engine, the R/T also comes with many advanced features, such as a 12.3-inch digital instrument display and a 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get an updated version of the Harmon Kardon audio system with 14 speakers with this trim.
